The Challenge
FreshChoice needed to create an engaging, high-volume activation that would:

- Enable a smooth "click & collect" finish-line experience to distribute 70,000 grocery items efficiently

The Solution
iPad Hire NZ delivered a fully managed and reliable technology setup including:
- 30 pre-configured iPads
- 7 Starlink units installed across key locations on the course
Every device was tested and connected pre-event, ensuring reliable performance and coverage from start to finish.
How It Worked
Runners passed through branded archways where grocery items were digitally collected and interactions captured instantly.
At the finish line, staff used iPads to help quickly retrieve and distribute grocery packs, completing a seamless "click & collect" experience.
The deployment of Starlink at every key touchpoint ensured that all devices remained connected, eliminating the risk of network congestion or dropouts typically associated with large outdoor events.
