  1. On the back of the keyboard slide the power switch to the "On" position
  2. On the front of the keyboard, turn the yellow dial on the left to the "1" position. (This dial allows you to pair the keyboard with up to 3 different iPads. We recommend always using the keyboard with one iPad, and keeping the dial in the "1" position.)
  3. Open the Settings app on the iPad, and tap Bluetooth from the left-hand menu.
  4. Hold down the "i" button on the right-hand side of the keyboard until the light starts flashing.
  5. On the iPad, a "Logitech Keyboard" should appear in the Bluetooth menu. Tap the keyboard to pair.
  6. Test the keyboard by pressing the alt/cmd and space bar at the same time. A menu should appear in the middle of the iPad screen if the keyboard is successfully connected.
